As part of our service, we send transactional SMS messages to customers, subcontractors, and team members on behalf of contractors who use our platform. 2. Types of Messages Sent
Job Site Core sends the following types of transactional SMS messages:
- Quote notifications — Alerts when a contractor sends you a project quote for review
- Invoice notifications — Alerts when an invoice is ready for viewing or payment
- Project status updates — Notifications about project milestones and progress
- Payment confirmations — Receipts when a payment has been processed
- Subcontractor photo upload requests — One-time links for subcontractors to upload project completion photos
- Team invitations — One-time invitations for employees to join their company on the platform
- Verification codes — One-time security codes for customer portal access
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on project activity. Typically, you will receive 1 to 5 messages per active project. Messages are only sent when there is a relevant project event (such as a new quote, invoice, or status update). You will not receive recurring or scheduled messages — each message relates to a specific action taken by your contractor.

4. How You Opt In to Receive Messages
There are several ways end users are opted in to receive SMS messages from Job Site Core:
For Customers (Quote & Invoice Recipients)
When a contractor adds you to a project or sends you a quote through Job Site Core, they enter your phone number as part of the existing business relationship. You may also provide your phone number and consent to receive SMS during customer portal registration.
For Subcontractors
When a project manager needs completion photos, they send a one-time upload link via SMS to subcontractors with whom they have an existing working relationship. These are single, non-recurring messages.
For Team Members
Company administrators may send one-time SMS invitations to employees to join the platform. These are single invitation messages based on the employment relationship.
Contractor SMS Enablement (Platform Users)
Contractors who use the Job Site Core platform opt in to SMS features through an explicit consent process within their account settings:
Create Account
Contractor signs up at jobsitecore.com. No SMS consent is required at signup.
Enable SMS in Settings
In Settings > Communications, the contractor enables SMS features to send transactional messages to customers and subcontractors.
Add Recipients
When creating quotes or projects, the contractor adds customer or subcontractor phone numbers as part of the business relationship.
Transactional Message Sent
The system sends the quote, update, or upload link with clear sender identification (contractor name + Job Site Core) and opt-out instructions in every message.

6. How to Opt Out
You can opt out of receiving SMS messages from Job Site Core at any time using any of the following methods:
- Reply STOP to any message you receive from Job Site Core. You will receive a confirmation: "Job Site Core: You've been removed from project updates for this number. Contact your contractor directly for project information."
- Contact us at support@harristec.com and request to be removed from SMS communications
After opting out, you will not receive any further SMS messages from Job Site Core. To re-subscribe, reply START to any previous message from our number.

7. Privacy & Mobile Data Protection
Job Site Core will never sell, share, or disclose your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or advertising purposes.
Your phone number is collected solely for the purpose of delivering transactional SMS messages related to your construction projects. We share your phone number only with our SMS service provider, Twilio Inc., for the sole purpose of message delivery. Twilio's handling of your information is governed by Twilio's Privacy Policy.
Your consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Job Site Core or from any contractor using our platform.
