Track time on a job

Clock in and out from the field, log break time, and assign hours to the right project so payroll runs cleanly.

Updated September 27, 2026

Clock in when you start, clock out when you finish. The clock asks a few short questions so your hours are right the first time and nobody has to guess later.

Moving to another job

  • Tap Switch job — do not clock out and back in.
  • Say whether you drove. Your drive time is paid.
  • Tap "I've arrived" when you get there.

Lunch

  • Tap Lunch when you start and again when you get back.
  • If the app ended your lunch for you, it asks when you really got back.
  • At clock-out it asks about your lunch. Answer honestly — no answer is pre-picked.

When the day runs long

On a long day the clock-out asks "You've been on the clock 14 hours. Is that right?"

If that is true, tap "Yes, that's right". The hours stand and the office can see you said so — the clock-out will not finish until you answer.

If you actually left earlier, put the real time under "When did you leave?" when the clock asks it. A shorter day takes this question away.

If you forgot to clock out

The next time you open the app, one sheet asks what is still missing — when you left, what you worked on, and anything the office asked. You can close it and clock in first; it will wait.

If your shift was ended for you

Sometimes the app closes your shift for you — the day ran past the longest shift your office allows, or past the daily cutoff. The next time you open the app it tells you so.

Tap "I'm still working" and your time starts running again. Tap "Fix clock-out" and you set the time you really left.

If your hours look wrong

Tap Explain on the entry and say what happened. If the office already approved the hours, the same button says "Ask for a correction" and sends your request to them.
